Jordan Basketball

Air Jordan 33

"From day one, flight has been central to the game of basketball. The AJ XXXIII, Air Jordan technology takes a daring leap forward, utterly abandoning convention with the new FastFit entry, tightening, and release system."

Inspired by flight utility, the materials were carefully designed to offer lightweight breathability mixed with touches of classic Jordan fine detailing and of course, just a bit of flashy style that only the Jordan brand can pull off.

Each release has it's own unique story told through color and material selection, The Future Flight, Guo Ailun, Tech Pack, Visible Utility, Utility Blackout, Chinese New Year, and Travis Scott Cactus Jack.

material design

Footwear has become my specialty, with over 14 years of experience working for brands such as Patagonia, Chaco, Jordan Brand, and Nike Inc. I love designing performance materials that allow people to explore the world and push the boundaries of athleticism in their daily lives.

cmf design

Color and finish are my passion. Cultivating an emotional response to color and textures is so important in a world becoming more digitally engaged. When I have been part of creating an object that "just feels right" it has served it's first purpose—comfort and joy.

textile craft

Textiles carry with them a history and a memory. I come from a family of quilters, a tradition passed on through the female lineage. Connecting textiles back to natural color application and handtouched craft, verses machine application, brings a nostaligia that comforts and connects me back to myself. I currently explore the poetic link between textiles and words and have found a practice of self-expression in that natural creative space.
